It took me six hours from start to finish; clearing out, cleaning, painting, clearing away and admiring! I did take a half hour break when number two son emerged asking for lunch. I also treated myself to a mille feuille with a cuppa since il faut que on a une moment de petite pleasure in this life. Cynan had a chocolate eclair that turned into a coffee one between the boulangerie and home. But, since the boulangerie in Nouans-Les-Fontaines does the best eclairs ever all was forgiven.
On the subject of boulangeries it’s Nouan for our weekly baguettes and other goodies such as brioche, meringues or yummy cakes; Orbigny for chocolate goodies and, Montresor for macarons and nougat . All three villages within a ten minute drive of chez-nous. More of all that later.
